In 2019, GreenMax was retained by the IDB under the Caribbean Eco-Micro Program to provide specialized technical assistance services to the National Development Foundation of Dominica (NDFD) to support the design and implementation of green financing solutions for MSMEs and low-income households in the country. The GreenMax team conducted a market assessment, prepared an operations manual for green lending, and provided training and capacity building to NDFD staff. The training covered green financial product development; how to manage engagement with technology providers; and development of a marketing and outreach strategy. The NDFD began lending to households and MSMEs in 2022.
