Before evolving into a fund manager, GreenMax had its roots in consulting and transaction advisory. Today, our advisory and market development practice focuses on building the institutional capacity of key market actors—including governments, national development banks, commercial financiers, project developers and companies—to strengthen the enabling environment for climate finance solutions to achieve impact at scale.
Where capital stalls across the energy ecosystem
Because project pipelines are weak, policies or regulations are unclear, projects aren't investment-ready, or financial institutions won't lend—we work to strengthen capacity and remove market barriers. Our services encompass RBF program and facility design; capacity building and training of governments and financial institutions; and transaction advisory, investment readiness and other technical assistance for project developers and enterprises in the distributed energy sector (namely the standalone solar, mini-grid, productive use, e-mobility and clean cooking segments). Our market development activities are grounded in decades of global experience across emerging markets in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe and the South Pacific.

Financing Facility Design
We specialize in designing results-based financing (RBF) programs and facilities that are delivering funding and technical assistance at scale to mini-grid developers, off-grid enterprises, productive use appliance distributors and EV operators across the continent.
Financial Sector Capacity Building and Training
We work with lenders to develop financial products, risk-sharing approaches, and credit frameworks tailored to clean energy and energy access investments.
Pipeline Development and Investment Readiness
We help developers advance their projects through feasibility analysis, financial modeling, permitting and investor engagement to reach bankability.
Market Intelligence and Strategy
We deliver in-depth market studies, investment landscape analyses and other sector mapping and research to identify market opportunities and inform strategy development.
Transaction Advisory and Technical Assistance
We provide structuring and investment facilitation support across the project lifecycle, including capital raising, due diligence, PPA structuring, and partnership engagement. This includes targeted support for early-stage project developers and enterprises through the GET.invest Finance Readiness Support (FRS) program.
